Circuit Training

Circuit Training by Fit Fabulous Forever

There’s nothing better than a good old-fashioned circuit workout.  I designed this one to be challenging but doable. If you’re not familiar with circuit training here’s a pretty good rundown.  Circuit Training combines resistance training and high intensity exercise designed to get your heart pumping while toning and building muscle.  All the exercises listed are performed in sequence with little to no rest in between, until all have been completed.  Once finished, you might choose to move to a different circuit or repeat the same one–that’s up to you. Or, if this is your first time doing a circuit you might prefer to rest for 5-10 minutes before doing it a second time. Regardless, I think you’ll find circuit training to be more challenging than merely lifting weights or running on the treadmill.  What I love about this type of training is that it’s designed to burn fat and build muscle, and that’s what most of us aim for when working out.

Feel free to copy the chart and share with friends.  A friend on Facebook asked if I would create a circuit so she could try it out.  Here you go

Be sure to do a 5 minute warm up and cool down. The stationary bike or treadmill is a good choice.
