Make the decision to lose weight and get fit. And, most importantly remove the word ”try” from your vocabulary. Accept the fact that there is no magic pill. It will take a lot of work and absolute perseverance.

Begin a new lifestyle of clean eating. This includes getting rid of all processed and junk food from your kitchen, reading labels and asking for support from family and friends. Keep a food journal the first 6 months; write down every bite you eat.
Join a gym, although working out at home is just as effective if you have the the equipment.
Write down your workout the day before. Planning is key.
Create a workout routine. This includes weight training four to six days a week always under an
hour we’re all crunched for time.
Start running or brisk walking 3-4 days a week. The treadmill is an option when the weather is too hot or cold.
Post magazine pictures of how you want to look by a certain date.
Never, ever consider going back to your old lifestyle.
