Power of Choice
Every choice we make has a consequence. There’s no way around it, we can’t out smart it, we can’t out run it…it’s a part of the human condition– pure and simple. Recently, I read a quote by Anne Frank which made me think about the enormous power of choice. What a perfect example of someone who made a very deliberate choice to make every moment count. Despite being faced with overwhelming obstacles, never knowing from one minute to the next if it might be her last, she chose not to give in to despair. It’s doubtful that she had even an inkling that the words written in her diary would have any effect on someone else’s life. Sixty five years later and the choices she made are still impacting the lives of others. Now that’s powerful!
Look around you and notice the people, the environment, animals, your health…these are just some of the things that we effect by our choices. It’s true that some choices are easier than others. It is much easier to eat unhealthy foods, not to exercise, to watch TV rather than walk or run a mile, and so on. But what if you knew–beyond a shadow of doubt–that you would look and feel fabulous, have improved self-worth and live an all around better life–if you chose to make exercise and eating clean a lifestyle? I made that very choice almost three years ago and haven’t regretted one single moment.
Take today to rid your life of unhealthy choices. Just think about the power you hold and how you–yes you-can effect change. Remember–cause and effect is the underlying principle of the universe. It’s unwavering, unchanging and will go on forever. The choice is yours…

The good news is that you don’t know how great
you can be! How much you can love! What you can
accomplish! And what your potential is!
