If you’re a lover of Milkshakes, then you absolutely have to give this clean version a try. If you didn’t know better, you’d think this shake was made with fattening ice-cream. It’s soooo creamy and yummy that even your kids will say, “Yum”!!!
Strawberry Banana Smoothie
Ingredients: (2 servings)
1 large frozen banana (slice into 1″ pieces before freezing)
6 large frozen strawberries (unsweetened)
Dash of cinnamon
1/2″ slice fresh ginger root (optional)
1 cup skim milk
1/2 cup pure pomegranate juice ( with no added sugar or apple juice)
Directions: Place all the above ingredients in a blender and blend until creamy…just like a milkshake. Add a straw and enjoy!
Tip: If you are out of pomegranate juice substitute 1/2 cup chilled green tea (home brewed is best with no added sweeteners and a lot less expensive than buying).
